Tori was one of my roommates during my college career, but for far too short of a time. As college can be a difficult time away from home, Tori became a part of my family in Florida and helped make our apartment feel like a home. Like many of my other college friends, she took care of me (I had many mothering friends), and encouraged me daily. She is the kind of friend that would drop anything to help someone else and I have been blessed endlessly by her!

Emma started attending the same church as Brian and I when we were in middle school. Our friendship grew because of our youth group and she became one of my closest friends during high school. Together we have helped each other through the struggles of life and she has always been a rock for me. Emma was there during every stage of Brian and I’s relationship and gave all the advice (to both of us) along the way. Her consistent positive spirit has influenced me for the best!

Karissa was my very first college roommate, starting as basically strangers, we became best friends quickly. Being from the same hometown, Karissa was the person I needed in this time to help adjust to college life and living far away from home. During our first couple years Karissa was the one I grew in faith with. Apart from this, she has always been there to make me laugh on a bad day or give encouragement when needed, and also mothered me. Karissa is one of the most genuine people i’ve ever met and loves others so deeply.

Sierra was the first person I met from my college, running into each other in the airport and becoming friends instantly. Eventually becoming a college roommate, Sierra and I became friends because of our way too similar life situations. She is someone who I was able to have deep conversations with, and someone who struggled through long distance with me as well. Together we figured out how to be in a relationship with someone who lived across the country. More than this, she has such an adventurous spirit that led to amazing memories and trips while living in Florida. Her joy for life was and still is so refreshing and encouraging!

Lexi is the friend who has been around the longest, as we attended the same middle school & high school. Throughout high school, Lexi was my closest friend and taught me so much about myself and my faith. She was one of the biggest influences on my life. Together we also made the most of our younger years and made so many memories that only bring laughter when reminiscing. Lexi has always been there with encouragement and prayer when I need it and her fearless spirit has impacted me constantly throughout the years.

Mason and I have been best friends since elementary school is truly is a brother from another mother. No matter how different our lives were, he was always there for me and always supported me. I couldn’t be luckier to have him standing next to me when I marry my best friend.

William has been one of my closest friends since elementary school and was my partner in crime in math pentathlon, Boy Scouts, soccer, swimming, and youth group.

Noah is the little brother I never got to have. We bicker and squabble like any brothers would and he’s the perfect third wheel to all of me and Shelby’s adventures. I love him like a brother and I’m happy to have him up there with me.

Austin and I swam together in high school and have worked together for many many years. He’s the only guy I know who is as weird as I am and is the prefect workout partner to get shredded with. Some might call it a bromance and I don’t think I would argue with them.

Bobby is a man of many names but most importantly I’m happy to call him my friend. We lived together for almost 2 years and was one of my closest friends at IWU. We enjoyed long talks in the kitchen and almost never walked outside at night. I’m happy to have him up there with me on my special day.

Thomas was not only my first roommate at IWU but also my first friend. Tom is truly a brother in Christ and loves others like no one else. I never want to do laundry with him ever again but I wouldn’t mind having him up there with me on the big wedding day.
