Travel Note

To Our Friends and Family (Part 1)

May 17, 2020: With the announcement of Indiana’s plan to reopen, and the ongoing news that Michigan will be closed indefinitely, we have had to quickly make some tough decisions on what our wedding will look like. We will still be getting married on June 6th. Since we now can have a wedding of 100 people in Indiana versus no wedding allowed in Michigan, we decided to move our wedding venue once again to a location in Indiana. Our wedding will now be taking place at Wellfield Botanical Gardens, Elkhart, Indiana. With this change, we also have to abide by social gathering guidelines, and narrow our guest list. As you can imagine, this was incredibly difficult for us to do. We are doing our best to contact everyone that was originally on our guest list, but in case we missed anyone, we wanted to clarify. Our wedding will be attended by only our family (out to first cousins), our bridal party, and a small handful of our closest friends.

If we are no longer able to host you on our big day, we are so sorry! Again, this decision was incredibly difficult. We were so excited to celebrate with everyone, but we value everyone’s safety first. To keep everyone involved, we will have a livestream of the ceremony (details will be on our website closer to the day). We want to thank all of you for the impact each of you have made in our lives! Whether we are able to see you in person on our wedding day or not, thank you for loving us into the people we are today! We know this whole situation is not easy for anyone, and we are praying for all of our family and friends in this time as well. With Love, Brian & Shelby
