I've heard so many good things about this neat little place. Imagine the landmark Stonehenge, but with towers of cars instead!! About a 35 minute drive from the venue.
Chadron State Park
I love these campgrounds! Loads of activities to do during the summer including bike riding, hiking, sand volleyball, the lake, horseback riding, etc. They have cabins and stalls to set up tents or campers. Only 20 minutes away from Hay Springs!
Scotts Bluff National Monument
This beautiful attraction of the Oregon Trail is what Gering and Scottsbluff are known for!! Hiking trails and roads that take you right through the bluff and even clear to the top to give you a grand view of the farmland and surrounding landscape, including the badlands. It's about a 90 min drive, but totally worth it if you love scenery and traveling!!
