Sarah, with an H. The living definition of glitter. The best Best Friend you could ask for. Eternal holder of the "She Was Mine First" certificate, and fulfiller of "don't make eye contact because somebody's gonna either cry or laugh hysterically at an inappropriate moment". Sarah and Rebekah met at homeschool co-op when they were 12. With many years of friendship, lots of laughter and tears, being there through the highs and lows of life, endless birthday celebrations, concerts, plays, and late-night talks, Rebekah is forever grateful for the abounding love and support Sarah has given to help make this special day, and so many others, possible. Many of us wouldn't be standing here today, in more ways than one, if it weren't for Sarah. Till the end of the line.

Sister of the Bride
SeaStar + Salmon + Chai Companion. AKA Rebekah's personal celebrity and "get out of jail free card" *for legal reasons this is a joke*. If anyone could prove that coffee gifting is a love language, it's Ruth - a true coffee penguin. Ruth and Rebekah have enjoyed local and international adventures together over the years, including a certain long walk in Dublin, Ireland, that ended with a lengthy flight of stairs and bribery by burritos. Rebekah jokes that Ruth's motto is "we can walk it!" and is thankful to have her sister here helping her with a very special (even if it is short) walk down the aisle. And, as is wise advice for every occasion: Hate is always foolish, Love is always wise, Always try to be nice, But never fail to be kind. Or, ya know, don't be lasagna.
Katrina Freeland

Secret Agent. Potato Aficionado. Best Kat with a K. Katrina and Rebekah met through various homeschool circles during their younger years, becoming closer friends at homeschool co-op in High School, and reconnecting again after college. Katrina and Rebekah have shared many similar seasons of life, and paralleled struggles, with God bringing them together to uplift each other through some of the hardest times. Katrina is one of the funniest and most supportive friends you could ask for, who dives in and offers help wherever it's needed, rarely asking for anything in return, bringing pure joy through her genuine laughter and humor, with tactical humility and sacrificial grace. Without Kat this day would not be possible, and civilizations would fall (well, we all know how that's actually going, but at least we have a secret agent on our team).
Jessica Garries
Bridesmaid
Chicken Wrangler. Chocolate lover. Instigator of infectious giggles. Jessica, cousin to Sarah, was introduced to Rebekah during their early college years. They shared fellowship while carpooling to Bellevue College for a year, and have maintained their friendship ever since, witnessed by much laughter, many a birthday weekend, deep talk, and prayers big and small. Rebekah was blessed to be part of Jessica's wedding in January and is thankful to have Jessica as part of her bridal party in return. Forever our group's soccer mom and oh so glamorous asset - if you know the real Jess you know how much life she brings wherever she goes, and the Godly pursuit she inspires. And, when all else fails, Trips for Wine!!
Alyssa McCafferty

Epic Disney Mom. Truth teller and hug giver. Don't tell anyone else how awesome she is, the news might get out and we want to keep her for ourselves. And honestly girls' dance nights are already crowded enough, at least for all us perpetually exhausted introverts. Alyssa and Rebekah met through the McCafferty family, enjoying time together at musicals, concerts, girls' movie nights, birthdays, and New Years'. Alyssa has been an encouraging example of a Godly friend and wife, offering wise advice and loving support. All of us are greatly blessed by Alyssa, and enjoy pondering her deep philosophical insights, such as "why do we have brains?" Rebekah is honored to have Alyssa as part of her bridal party, and thankful for her teasing insight that helped make this day possible. Because yes, she "called it".
Alanna Lopez

Sweet and sassy twin, separated at birth. Seriously, just look at us. I have questions for the hospitals. And our mothers. And yes, our age gap is clearly and completely explainable. If ever there was a friend that somehow was a friend before you even knew them, it's Alanna. Rebekah met Alanna through the McCafferty's, directly prior to a close friends' wedding in 2021, which they both helped with behind the scenes. Quickly becoming friends, bonding through shared humor and a love of Marvel, Alanna is a sweet friend who knows how to keep it real, and quickly joined the ranks of the "I called it" squad. Always a giver of warm hugs, Alanna helps before she's even asked, and will instantly support even the craziest of schemes (just look at where we're all at people, seriously). And if anyone ever needs a solid motivational boost, no need to worry, Alanna's right there with a "get there faster" to speed you on your way.
Jordan Olson
Best Man
Soldier of God's Army. Jordan and Joshua met when the Barrios family moved to Eastridge Baptist Church over 8 years ago. Always encouraging and willing to help, never once did Jordan back away from an opportunity to love and support in any way possible. Joshua was thankful to be part of his wedding and didn't think twice about returning the honor. Jordan is an excellent teacher, gamer, brother and friend. Respect, Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, Stewardship.
Stephen Groot

He is Groot. The most amazing example of humility and honesty, Stephen is a natural supporter. Much of his church's youth group boys look up to him and his wife as an example of a godly man. Joshua met him mostly through Joshua's eldest sister, KayLee, who married him and became a Groot herself. Together, they create a family-centered atmosphere filled with laughter, smiles, entertainment, and joy, always finding a way to make people feel at home. Joshua is proud to call him his brother-in-law and groomsmen. We are Groot(ish).
Skyler Morrall

Fellow Dice Roller of the Ages. Joshua met Skyler when attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. Skyler stood by Joshua through the very best and the extremely worst of times, always extending a strong hand in love. Together, they spent days' worth together in the depths of homework, joy, tears, and most of all, tabletop roll playing games. Even 2,000 miles of distance doesn't separate them in sharing, and making, memories that will last. Skyler introduced Joshua to many people, several of which will remain friends of Joshua for life. Skyler is a true companion to the end. Roll initiative!
Bryan Botka

The REAL Music Man. Bryan and Joshua met at Eastridge Baptist Church, but more so closely when they both went on a camping trip through the church's College & Career group. Ever since then, they have had multiple discussions, and some beautiful debates, on lore of many nerd universes, mainly the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. Bryan shares his God-given talent of music to the Barrios family, the church he attends, and anyone else that would listen. Everyone needs a Bryan in their lives, and Joshua is blessed that he has one. May the Force be with you.
Ken Wallace

Walking Definition of Gentleman. Ken joined the family when he married the mother of the groom. Since then, Joshua has been able to see how Ken acts and how he treats other people. Joshua looks up to him as an example of peace, gentleness, and humility. You just can't get angry at Ken, unless you really want to without a reason. If anyone wants to know how to be a gentleman, they can watch how Ken treats his wife and kids. Welcome to the family, Ken!
