I have known Ben almost my entire life. We met all the way back in Cub Scouts, almost 25 years ago. We got close when we went to Southside together and we both stuck with the scouts going on many camping trips and eventually working on each other's Eagle scout projects.

Amber and I met in college at a costume party through a mutual friend (ask her about the party, she loves to tell that story). We spent a year as housemates in college, and share a love for errand hangs and Disney trips.

I met Brendan in the IB program at Southside. We bonded over our love of nerdy things and spending more time in computer science class playing games than coding.
Alyssa Lawson

I met Alyssa, my BFFLAA, in 4th grade when I started at a new school over 20 years ago. We reconnected when I moved back to Santa Barbara in 2019 and spent about a year living near each other in Maryland.
Ishaan Jain

I met Ishaan at Southside in the IB program. We spent a lot of time together when we both did Academic Team tournaments, with completely different knowledge areas we worked great on a team together, eventually our senior year being Co-captions for the A team at one point.
Karlee Preston

I first asked Karlee to be in my wedding in 2014, about 6 months after we met in our first year of college. Perhaps optimistic in hindsight, but we had bonded over some rough group projects and a knowledge of my favorite musician Matt Nathanson. We spent 6 months studying abroad in Germany together in 2016 and have lived together 3 separate times across multiple states.
