Christine and April met back in Grade 4, but their bond truly cemented in Grade 9 and they’ve been inseparable ever since. For the past 17 years, Christine has been April’s best friend, confidant, and chosen family. They’ve grown up together through every stage of life - from elementary school dances and university all-nighters to weddings, babies, and everything in between. They share everything - from their love of Taylor Swift and binge-watching The Summer I Turned Pretty and Love Island, to spontaneous IKEA trips, swapping books, and spending hours talking about anything and everything. Christine is the person April turns to for the good, the hard, and everything in between — the one who listens, laughs, and lifts her up no matter what. Christine isn’t just an incredible friend — she’s also an amazing mother and an inspiration in more ways than one. April has had the joy of watching her become the most loving, patient, and devoted mom to her perfect twin girls. Nine years ago, April proudly stood by Christine’s side as a bridesmaid, and now Christine returns the honor as Matron of Honor. There is truly no one else April could imagine standing beside her on her special day. They aren’t just best friends, they are, and will always be, family.
Kim
Bridesmaid
Kim and April met in 2020 when they shared the same position—Kim was on half-time leave to be home with her son Nolan, and April filled in for the other half. One of April’s core memories as a new teacher was walking into her decorated workspace on her birthday—thanks to Kim and their friend Joelle. Birthdays are a big deal for April, and that thoughtful moment (along with many others) sealed the deal: Kim wasn’t just a colleague, she was something so much more. Their friendship quickly bloomed over life’s greatest necessities: food, comfy clothes, and messy hair. They’ve camped, spa’d, booked random hotel nights “just because,” spent countless hours talking and, of course, indulged in Kim’s incredible baking. She even wins major points by baking just for Josh— she knows the way to his heart is a good blueberry pie. Kim is the kind of friend who knows what you need before you even say a word. She gives without expecting anything in return, shows up when it matters most, and reminds April of what true friendship really looks like. She’s genuine, hilarious, supportive, and honestly one of the coolest humans April knows. Simply put, April would be lost without her.
Sarah
Bridesmaid
Sarah is basically family - she is engaged to April's brother-in-law, which makes her kind of a sister-in-law, kind of a bestie, and definitely someone April loves to spend time with. They have known each other since 2020 and have shared countless laughs, tears, late nights, and friendly competition ever since. They regularly get together with Josh and Jordan to go eat or cook delicious meals and play endless rounds of board games and cards (April usually takes the win). They spend every holiday together and Sarah always knows how to bring the fun. Sarah and April share a passion for working with kids - Sarah is a dedicated ECE who cares for preschoolers and April is a teacher who loves her primary class. They both find joy in nurturing little minds (and swapping hilarious kid stories). Sarah is kind, easygoing, and always up for a good time. She brings warmth and fun wherever she goes, and so April is lucky to have her by her side for such a special day.
Jordan
Best Man
Jordan isn't just Josh's brother - he is his lifelong best friend, adventure buddy, and built-in partner in crime. Their bond goes far beyond blood; it's the kind of connection that's been built through shared memories, challenges, and a whole lot of laughs. From working the same jobs to teeing off on the golf course or talking about cars, Jordan and Josh have always had each other's backs. They're both the kind of guys who are always up for an adventure and never hesitate to show up when it really counts. Some of their best memories were made up north at their family cottage, where they spent nearly every summer growing up. Whether they were fishing, swimming, floating with life jackets on upside down as "diapers", eating hot dogs on Hot Dog Island, playing games, or just getting up to no good, those carefree days shaped a bond that can't be put into words. Their relationship is one-of-a-kind - deep, loyal, and filled with history. There's no one else Josh would want standing beside him as he takes this next step.
Brandon

Brandon has been in Josh’s life for over 12 years and is more than just a friend—he’s like a brother. Soon, he’ll officially be family, but their bond has long gone beyond labels. From the start, Brandon has been someone Josh feels completely himself around - no filters, no pressure, just full trust and loyalty. They do nearly everything together. They work side by side as HVAC techs, went headfirst into a mud run together (and somehow made it out alive), and never say no to a spontaneous adventure. Whether they’re working side by side, blasting EDM on road trips, or geeking out over F1 and WWE, their friendship is built on shared passions, mutual respect, and a deep, unshakable connection. Josh is someone Brandon has always felt completely himself around. From music festivals to deep life talks, he’s been a constant ride-or-die. And as much as Brandon values Josh as a friend, he respects him even more as the man who loves and supports his sister so well. Their bond is one of a kind.
Kyle

Kyle likes to joke that one of the best things about April meeting Josh was that HE got to meet Josh. What started as an introduction through April twelve years ago quickly turned into an unexpected but incredible friendship. Josh isn't just April's fiance - he's one of Kyle's best friends. Kyle and Josh are always up for a good time, whether it's spontaneous adventures, watching Jersey Shore, or just doing whatever it takes to create unforgettable (and sometimes unrememberable) memories. They've shared countless laughs - like that time Kyle got "stuck" at Everafter, or when Josh picked up a single slice of pizza in Montreal only to realize that his box was the only one that wasn't cut. And there was of course, the Vegas incident. Kyle says Josh holds a special place in his heart because Josh almost witnessed Kyle die off a mountain. He says that Josh would have been the last face he saw before he died. Their friendship is full of inside jokes, hilarious stories, and a deep appreciation for just how much fun life can be with the right people by your side (when he's not trying to steal their puppy Finn). Kyle couldn't be happier to be part of Josh and April's big day - and even more grateful to call Josh a lifelong friend.
Liam

Liam and Josh have been friends for ten years - but fun fact: Liam actually knew April for five years before he ever met Josh! As a regular at the Humphrey house (hanging out with Brandon), it was only a matter of time before he and Josh crossed paths. From there, their friendship naturally grew into something strong, genuine, and full of unforgettable moments. Over the years, Liam and Josh have shared countless road trips, late-night laughs, and epic memories that they still think about all the time. They connect over everything-sports, music, cars, travel-you name it, they've probably talked about it for hours. Josh especially admires Liam's passion for music and has always loved watching him make music - it's one of the many things that sparked their connection early on. One of their favourite shared rituals? Sunday mornings, without fail, texting each other play-by-plays of the latest F1 race like it's the Super Bowl. Liam says that Josh is like a missing puzzle piece; the kind of guy who brings nothing but good vibes and makes every moment more fun by just being there. Their bond has only gotten stronger with time, and Liam truly wouldn't have it any other way. In his own words: "Love you, Josh - and I'm proud to call you a great friend".

Finn and Willow are more than just pets — they’re family. They fill our days with laughter, barking, and endless affection. On our wedding day, they’ll proudly serve as the Security Team, watching over guests, snacks, suspicious squirrels, and each other, while reminding us that unconditional love comes with four paws and a wagging tail.
