It's been maybe 17 years of friendship?! Kellie was my first friend when my family first began attending Anaheim Free Methodist Church around the time we were both in the third grade. I knew right away that I wanted to be friends with Kellie- there's no way anyone wouldn't want to be friends with Kellie and her very sweet spirit. We were only a phone call and 5 minute drive away from each other; she was always the first person to hear about anything new in my life. I'm so stoked for the two of us to have fulfilled our childhood promise of being each other's Maid (or in this case, Matron) of Honor in each other's weddings one year after the other!

A great guy if there ever was one! Ever since meeting at church Bible study, we've shared a love of all things nerdy: Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Ball Z, you name it. Also a man after God's own heart, Mark has always helped keep me on the straight and narrow. Thank you for being an amazing counsel and for keeping me updated on all things nerdy!

I met Naomi during Renew's Thursday night Bible study when Maurice was our small group leader! I immediately gravitated towards her and her kind and gentle spirit and knew right away that I wanted to be her friend. I began sitting with her and Lauren during Sunday services, then we'd go out to eat lunch afterwards. Our mutual love for hotpot, shopping, and love for quality one-on-one hangouts brought us to where we are today!

Good guy Mo! Shortly after I joined Renew, Maurice and I co-led an amazing small group together. He's been as reliable as a rock and I can count on him for anything (such as holding down my proposal spot for +8 hours). Happy to have him stand by me during this huge day!

I met Zoe after she made the big move from Hawaii to California to room with Naomi. The first word that came to both of our minds when we met each other was F A S H I O N- the connection was real. From that point I quickly learned that Zoe is also loyal, fierce, and the most EPIC storyteller. I'm always excited for any hangout with her present!

We met during small group Bible study at our church and eventually became 6am workout buds. I'm grateful that Derek always set the weight higher, spotted me when it felt too heavy, and for always being ok with talking too long about life between sets.

Lauren and I had met and made a connection in the very early days of Renew Church- we ate together during a Sunday lunch post-service with a big group of people. I remember being sad since I hadn't seen Lauren again much after, but was delighted to see her again after she and Naomi began carpooling and attending service/Bible studies together! Somehow I'm always laughing with Lauren, either in person or over text (and now TikTok) and can't get enough of her kindness and vibrant presence!
