Arrival Day
Benvenuti in Toscana! Guests are welcome to arrive at Villa Ivana starting at 4:00 PM. Settle into your room, sip a glass of vino, and take in the beautiful countryside views. We’re so excited to begin this unforgettable week with you!
Sunday, May 10
Explore on your Own & Welcome Party
Enjoy a leisurely day to settle in and explore at your own pace. In the evening, join us at the villa for a casual grigliata—an inviting Tuscan barbecue with great food, local wine, and an easy, joyful start to the week under the Tuscan sky.
Monday, May 11
Full-Day Tour
Join us for a full-day hosted excursion through some of Umbria’s most beautiful towns. We’ll begin in Assisi with a guided walking tour that brings the history and quiet charm of this hilltop sanctuary to life. From there, we’ll make our way to Perugia for some time on your own in the heart of the city. In the afternoon, we’ll stop in lakeside Passignano for gelato and a stroll along the water before heading back to Cortona.
Tuesday, May 12
Explore Cortona + Rehearsal Dinner
Spend the day wandering Cortona’s cobblestone streets, boutiques, and cafés. In the evening, we’ll gather for our rehearsal dinner with close friends and family.
Wednesday, May 13
Free Morning & Wedding Day
Enjoy a peaceful morning—maybe a walk through the vineyards or check out our recommendation in the Things to Do tab! Then it’s time: our giorno del matrimonio begins! We can't wait to celebrate with you in the most magical setting.
Thursday, May 14
Wedding Brunch & Afternoon Activity (Optional, Guest Pay)
Join us for brunch in the morning to celebrate, and then for an activity during the day (optional and self-paid). More details to come!
Friday, May 15
Florence Day Tour (Optional, Guest Pay)
For those interested, we’ll take the train into Florence for a guided tour—art, architecture, and all the beauty this city has to offer. This is optional and guest paid. Feel free to depart from Florence if flying out of the Florence airport, or come back to the villa with us for one last night!
