We are visiting mid-May which is the beginning of the Tuscan spring! Temperatures will be around 71 degrees with an average low of 47 degrees. The villa does have a pool, so feel free to bring a swimsuit, or just relax by the pool on warmer days.

Question

Where do I stay?

Answer

If you are more comfortable finding your own accommodation and staying elsewhere, or there is not space for you at the villa, please see these options! Here are some suggested places to stay near the villa: La Renaia- 1 Min drive / 1.1KM Agriturismo Villa Il Trebbio- 3 Min drive / 1.4KM Agriturismo I Pagliai - 5 Min drive / 2.1KM Cortona Resort - Villa Aurea- 3 Min drive / 2.2KM Relais La Corte Dei Papi- 5 Min drive / 4.6 KM Agriturismo Fontelunga- 4 Min drive / 2.9KM

Question

Do I really need to rent a car?

We suggest either renting a car for your party, or finding other guests to share a car rental with. The villa is located in a beautiful, rustic area of Tuscany, surrounded by rolling hills. This also means that it is not the most walkable location!

Question

Is there anything special required for car rental?

Answer

You will need an international driving permit. Find more information here: https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html

When should I rent a car?

Answer

Automatic car rentals tend to book up quickly, so we recommend booking one with plenty of time to spare!
