We know it’s a big ask for our family and friends to travel so far for our wedding. This wedding is a dream come true for us, and while we would love to celebrate with everyone we care about, we have absolutely no expectations. Just knowing you’re thinking of us means the world. We’re so grateful for your time and consideration, whether you’re able to attend or not. We can’t wait to celebrate with you—near or from afar!

Flight

Florence or Rome?

Guests can fly into either Florence or Rome. Villa Ivana is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Florence, or 2 hours and 20 minutes from Rome. The villa can be reached by private transfer, train, or rental car from either airport—whatever works best for your travel plans!

Train

Stazione di Terontola-Cortona

This is the closest train station to the Villa. If you are traveling from within Europe, you can use Trainline to pre-purchase tickets from whatever destination you are coming from.

Rental Car

Villa Ivana is tucked away in the scenic Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards and hilltop towns. We recommend renting a car to fully enjoy and explore the area during your stay. Keep in mind you will need an international driver's permit, see our Q&A section for more details. Please note this car rental location is nearby the train station and villa, if you'd prefer to rent a car at an airport many options are surrounding both.

Villa Ivana - Cortona

A complimentary double bedroom at Villa Ivana in Cortona, Italy will be available for members of the wedding party and select family from May 9 to May 16, 2026. Due to limited availability, not all guests will be able to stay at the villa. If a room has been reserved for you, Sam and Josh have reached out to confirm your stay.
