Flight

Montrose Regional Airport: MTJ (aka Telluride)

1 hour from Paonia. Montrose Airport sometimes is listed as Telluride Airport, please check the airport code is MTJ. Most flights to MTJ will have a layover somewhere as it is a small regional airport. We fly here often, it is a very easy airport! Montrose is a medium-sized town, you can rent a car, and stock up on groceries or camping supplies here. Nearby attractions include Ouray, Telluride and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. There is often spotty to no cell reception for the last 30 minutes of the drive, so have your destination plugged in (also Big B's is right off the road- you can't miss it!)

Grand Junction Regional Airport: GJT

1 hr 25 min from Paonia. Most flights to GJT will have a layover somewhere as it is a small regional airport. We fly here often, it is a small and easy airport. Grand Junction is our largest nearby town. You can rent a car, stock up on groceries and camping supplies (nearest REI to Paonia). Nearby attractions include Colorado National Monument, Moab and Arches National Park. There is often spotty to no cell reception for the last 30 minutes of the drive, so have your destination plugged in (also Big B's is right off the road- you can't miss it!)

Flight

Denver International Airport: DEN

4 hrs 30 min from Paonia. This will be the most direct and affordable flight option. DIA will offer direct flights from many destinations. A 4.5-hour drive will take you over the Rockies through Vail and Glenwood Canyon, some gorgeous sites in Colorado. Though the drive is not difficult, it can feel long after a flight. There is no cell reception between Carbondale and Paonia (the last hour of the drive- the most beautiful part!) so make sure you have your destination plugged in.

Good Ol American Road Trip!

Enjoy some time off and take a road trip out to the Rockies! There are some great sights and National Parks along the way, and our side of Colorado has a lot to explore in the summer. The last leg of the drive always has spotty reception, so make sure you have Paonia or Big B's punched in for the last hour of your journey.

Big B's Delicious Orchards

The wedding events will take place at Big B's Delicious Orchards. They offer camping (tent, glamping, campers, and RV spots), showers, a cafe and small shop, hard cider, wine tasting, live music and U-Pick orchards.
