Airport to/from Old Town Transit Center

There is a FREE shuttle called the "San Diego Flyer" that runs to and from Old Town Transit Center and San Diego Airport (both terminal 1 and 2) every 20-30 minutes, EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK 4:45am-12:30am! The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel is only a 5 minute walk (300 yards) from the Old Town Transit Center.

Traveling Around San Diego

It is recommended to rent a car in San Diego for convenience. Downtown can be expensive during the weekends to park, so use the trolley to get back and forth there. You can get around on the coast of San Diego with the trolley. Use google.com/maps for directions using public transportation for more details. The bus system also is ok when you are closer to the coast. However, it is recommended to rent a car if you want to really explore San Diego.

Trolley can get you anywhere on the coast all the way down to Tijuana. Or east and west near highway 8. You can take this from Old Town to downtown as well. $2.50 fare fee.
