Thom and Joseph have known each other for almost 25 years. It all began in a high school class over a mutual passion. The subject? Starcraft. A video game from another day and age. Since then we have been best friends, lives ebbing and flowing through the challenges, intricacies, and initiations of life. For me, Thom has been a source of inspiration and always has driven me to be my best self. Many years ago we both said we'd be each other's Best Man. In 2017 it was my turn, and now it is his.

Michael and Joseph's friendship was forged in fires of hell(ish) post graduate workplace nonsense. We connected over design, coffee, and a mutual desire to do good things in the world. We've been friends ever since, even having the glorious opportunity to enjoy life as roommates for a year, which happened to put me in the perfect place to meet Lydia.

Jesse and Joseph share an unyielding, fanatical, sometimes seemingly absurd passion and faith in the culture and business of coffee. While our friendship began in the world of business, we have found deep spiritual commonalities in our interest to do good and help others in the world. We also share a deep appreciation for well crafted things, including of course, scotch.

Lydia's soul sister and spiritual midwife. We met in 2011 in midwifery school and have been sharing the joy and sorrow of life's twisting roads over coffee, red wine or chocolates ever since.

Lydia's oldest sister and part-time style advisor and life coach. Her generous support, humor and love over the years have made Lydia eternally regretful she so mercilessly pulled her hair as a toddler.

Lydia's younger sister, triple-scorpio relationship genius, and costume artist. Sally is instrumental to all of our greatest family good times bringing the games, the wetsuits and the "hula loops" (as Zaria would say).

Lydia's youngest sister and Disney movie binge watch companion. Melody's sense of humor and exotic culinary creations have been a source of soul-level nourishment on every occasion we've had to enjoy them.

Our spirited little pre-schooler who loves everything glamorous and fancy. She's always up to give an explanation or offer direction to her older brothers and loves to be the center of attention once she warms up to the party. She is eagerly awaiting our wedding and her starring role as the flower girl. Zaria is 100% positive she is going to have a little sister when the time comes.

Our 11-year-old peacemaker, Zelda Breath of the Wild expert, political analyst, budding engineer and space enthusiast. He is looking forward to more family camping trips and the chance to organize his own room in our future home together.

Our 8-year-old mathematical wizard, trampolinist, animal-lover and aspiring paleontologist. Aldyn is full of curiosity and always delights us with his thoughtful opinions and sense of humor. He is looking forward to a hot cheeto party on the beach and building a fort in our future home.
