We're getting married!

We had the profoundly good fortune to have found each other with no small thanks to the our modern day matchmaker, the wise technologically rendered maids, our venerable svakha, beloved swat, our dear casamentero, the greatly skilled shadchan...otherwise known as OKCupid. Joseph sent Lydia a message to start a conversation about her budding birth services business venture in mid-November 2019, and we haven't stopped talking since. We match each other perfectly in our passion for our work to make a difference and our values for family and life-giving ways of living. Joseph proposed on Winter Solstice 2020. A tanzanite, amethyst, diamond and star-sapphire studded engagement ring was lovingly crafted with the combined blessings of Patricia’s wedding jewelry from George and heirloom jewelry from Angela and Evelyn. Our marriage will mark the beginning of our lives together as spouses and the formal joining of our family to create a lifetime of love and support for our children Aquila, Aldyn and Zaria...and any others we are blessed with in the future. We are looking forward to our wedding day in June when all of you will gather with us as this next part of our story unfolds.
