Best Man
My oldest brother and a role model from day 1, Josh keeps me on my toes and fuels some friendly competition. From theatre, video games or wrestling in the mud, I grew up getting a lot of inspiration from Josh. Getting surprised by him at my high school performance of Les Mis as well as living close to him for a few years in college are two of the greatest gifts of my life. The three of us Logan boys have all been best men for each other, and now it's his turn to stand beside me.
Maid of Honor
Alex and I initially met in high school, but became closer throughout college and into our twenties and thirties. We both have lived in different parts of the country for the last five years, but have always planned trips to see each other because we enjoy each other's company so much. Alex has answered many, many calls from me whether I'm asking for advice, needing to share something, or just wanted to hear her voice. Her go with the flow and nonjudgmental attitude combined with her giggle and spunky vibes makes her someone I'm always stoked to be around. We've gone on multiple girls trips together, had countless sleepovers, and now the stars have aligned and we are both living in Austin. Alex is the bringer of parties.
Best Man
The middle brother, James is the most outgoing and energetic of the three of us. We spent tons of time together building forts, playing sting pong, or whacking each other with swords. Let's just say... Pain- lot's of pain. He also fueled a lot of my inspiration growing up. I had to figure out how to keep up from an early age. I got to live with him and his wife Jordan for a year during covid, and it was great to have so much time together as adults. I'm beyond blessed to have two brothers whom I can also call best friends.

My first memory of Kim is playing Monopoly during indoor recess in the 3rd grade. I became aggravated when she attempted to place a house on a property she owned when she didn't have a monopoly of that property color. Our friendship grew stronger as we navigated middle school and high school together, and continued on throughout college and into adulthood. A stand alone core memory for us would be our 6 week backpacking trip in Europe when we were 20 - how her parents allowed us to go is still beyond me, but we did it! I view Kim as a role model in many ways from her frugality with money to her unwavering loyalty to those she cares for. However, seeing her grow into the woman and mother she is today makes me proud and humbled to call her a best friend. Standing beside Kim on her wedding day filled me with joy and it is an absolute honor to have her up with me on mine. Bonus: Kim's two daughters, Harper and Scarlett, and a son Noah, are all Flower Hobbits!

He's a CPA, a pilot, and a stand up comedian, what more do you need to know?
Bridesmaid
I've known Peggy the longest out of any person in the wedding party, including my sisters. Peggy and I met at a playground when we were 2 years old. Our moms were part of a local rosary group, and her and I would run amuck while the moms prayed. Each of our catholic moms had 6 kids and their joke is that between the two of them they had a dozen children. Peggy's mom, Pat, signed Peggy up to start Irish Dance classes when we were 5, and my mom immediately followed suit. Carpooling to Irish Dance practices, competitions, and doing performances together are just a few pastimes we share. Growing up, she is always someone that I said would be a bridesmaid, and it makes me super happy to see that come to fruition. Peggy is mother to Saoirse, another Flower Hobbit!

My oldest friend, he and I were in preschool together, played soccer together, and went head to head as Javert and Val Jean in our high school production of Les Mis. We had an epic road trip in 2020 to celebrate finishing college #wheninrome. I was proud to stand beside him on his wedding day and am thankful he's standing beside me.

When I think about Deidre, I think about a quote I read that says, "Everyone talks about their childhood friends, but I want to talk about the best friend I made navigating adulthood that I didn't know I needed." When I moved to Durango, I didn't find 'my people' until I met Deidre. She is a kindred soul with so much kindness. We crafted, read, watched shows, danced, and of course had endless amounts of cribbage brunches. Deidre is another founding member of the Durang-Hoe book club (that I miss dearly). Her style is chic, her wit is unmatched, and her hair care is exceptional. Moving to Austin meant no more weekly cribbage brunches or random pop-ins to say hi and pet her amazing dog, Phobos. Deidre and I stay in touch - daily - and I always look forward to her updates. Thank you, Deidre.

One of the Allison 3NW crew, Justin and I met at the dorms freshman year at CSU. We became fast friends and did a ton together over the years. From working out, going on trips to the cabin, or having late night existential convos, we've seen each other change and grow a lot over the years.

Once upon a time at Durango's Wildhorse Saloon, I met Claire. Minutes into meeting, Claire showed me a note she had created that categorized the attractiveness of men by sandwich type. I then knew immediately that we'd become good friends. Since then, we've had many board game nights, dinners out, Durang-hoe book club meetings, and adventures. A stand out moment is one fated Fourth of July when our raft tipped at Animas Park on the Animas River. Side by side among the rapids, we held hands in our T position. Claire can always be relied upon, I've never seen her with a poor attitude, and I've always admired her sense of self. Thank you, Claire, for your patience and fantastic phrase "If we aren't late, we aren't coming." But seriously be on time for the wedding.

Jake and I also met freshman year at CSU, and were a part of the same bible study. We did a ton together and lived together for our junior and senior years. Jake might be the funniest and most genuine guy I know. He's a new dad and a great man. I want to be like him when I grow up.

Ana is one of my friends in Kansas City that I make sure I see every time I go visit! Her, Alex, and I are a trio that can have a blast whether we go out to a bar until midnight, where we end up doing karaoke, or decide to stay in, watch Netflix, and eat some of Ana's amazing cuisine. Ana and I love to connect on all things fitness and health-related, and I find solace in her nonjudgmental and accepting way. We love to cheer each other on in all life's goals! There are too many stand out memories, but one that I'm particularly fond of is our girl's trip to Delaware for the Firefly Music Festival in 2022. I love you, Ana!
Groomsman
Taylor is also one of the Allison 3NW boys. After freshman year we were roommates every year. We spent more time together over those four years than I did with anyone else. Poor guy couldn't get rid of me. He's a great guy and a fellow nerd. I miss battlefield one :'(
Bridesmaid
Heather and I met in college where we played on the Colorado State University Women's Ultimate Frisbee team, the Hell's Belles. We clicked immediately after I saw that she had 'hope' written in Elvish as a tattoo, and when we discovered that 'The Very Best of Enya' was the first CD either of us had ever owned. Heather was fundamental in shaping who I am as a woman; she taught me many things like how to properly cut an avocado or helping me develop my sense of style and fashion. She grew up in Hawaii, which led to multiple trips over to visit, including a tremendously muddy hike down to Kalaupapa on Molokai, and ultimately me moving in for a few months back in 2019-2020. We've continued to stay in touch through calls, texts, and sharing hilarious instagram content. Having Heather not only attend my wedding, but be a bridesmaid will be the first time I've seen her since I moved away from Maui in 2020!

I have some great friends. Jeff is one of them. ANOTHER Allison 3NW buddy, he's the friend that I can count on to do something ill-advised with me without hesitation. Longboarding down parking garages or snowshoeing across "frozen" rivers. He's extremely competitive and smart, think engineer meets race car driver.
Bridesmaid
Allie is my brother Matt's girlfriend, and I've enjoyed seeing them grow as a couple and how their personalities complement each other. My earliest memories of Allie are from what many climbers refer to as 'Creeksgiving,' a Thanksgiving spent camping at the popular climbing destination in Colorado called Indian Creek. My sister Mary, my cousin Emily, and I joined in on the fun - Emily still uses the recipe for the stuffing we ate that night! Both Matt and Allie made us feel welcome, and this trip stands out to me as one of my core happy memories. Early on, I could see how kind and gracious Allie is, and I always get excited for family gatherings when I know she is attending.

This dude is a Mensch. Air Force Pilot, Paramedic, and all around badass. I may not be here today without him. He and his wife Rachel are inspirational.
Bridesmaid
Becky is one of my three sisters, and the next in line in the Heine kid lineup. Although we got into many sisterly fights growing up, we have become closer since leaving home. As soon as Joe and I got engaged, she immediately reached out with enthusiasm to help in any way she could. Her wedding in 2024 was an exciting time for the family, and I'm genuinely happy to have her insight and kind perspective.
Groomsman
School, sleepovers, airsoft, church camp. I spent moore time with this guy than anyone else in middle school. We were the only two boys in our class of five, so we became pretty tight and also got on each other's nerves a lot. He's an extremely hard working and good guy. I had the honor of standing beside him on his wedding day and now he and his wife have two little guys. I'd give him a 50/50 chance of killing a bear with his bare hands.
Bridesmaid
Although Mary and I are about 7 years apart, we have always had a close relationship. Most recently, we got the chance to be roommates in Durango for a few months where Mary tried my patience on the regular. When we were both living in Durango, we'd meet up for Karaoke (She has an amazing voice!), grab breakfast, or walk with her dog, Lucy.
Groomsman
Another one of my oldest friends. We met when I was in sixth grade and have gotten into some great shenanigans in the years since. No matter what we do in life, whenever we get back together it feels like no time has passed. We love movies so much we started a podcast together about them. He's a real iron sharpens iron kind of guy.
Bridesmaid
Maggie is my youngest sister and has always marched to the beat of her own drum. She is creative, an amazing cook, and also fascinated with Japanese culture. Maggie loves cooking food for others; a couple of years ago at our sister Becky's bachelorette party, she spent almost two hours in the kitchen to make Becky, Mary, and I a traditional Japanese breakfast one morning. It was fantastic. Thank you, Maggie.
Groomsman
Another Allison 3NW fella. Kyle is the ultimate adventure buddy. We've scuba dived in Hawaii, got caught on a mountain peak in a hailstorm, almost slid off the road in the middle of winter, and shot a lot of guns. He's got a backup plan for the backup plan. When the going gets rough, you want him on your team.
