A once in a lifetime train ride through Animas valley and up the mountains to Silverton. Reserve a full day for this experience. You can take a drive up to Silverton as well and explore on your own.
This is a nice hike right in town Durango. Tons of hikes all around but this has easy access.
One of the best craft breweries in Colorado. Ska will be served at our wedding and if you have the time is a fun brewery to have a beer and some tasty snacks. There are several other great breweries in town if you're looking to hop ;) around, i.e. Steamworks, Animas brewing Co, Durango Beer and Ice.
We created our date night crib-nic (cribbage meets picnic) here. Great place to take the kids to play or start a walk on the river trail.
Hot springs right in the valley, this is a great spot to spend an afternoon or evening soaking and relaxing. Reservations recommended.
