FAQs

The Wedding Website of Joseph Logan and Elizabeth Heine
Question

What kind of clothing should I wear?

Answer

We are encouraging folks to wear what is traditionally worn for wedding guests in their family's culture; maybe an outfit that they don't get to wear as often as they would like. As Scots, many of the Logans will be wearing kilts. Other wedding attire would be semi-formal with comfortable shoes. Hobbit or Middle Earth inspired clothing always welcome.

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

We are getting married on a working horse ranch. The Ceremony is outside, and the reception is in a dirt-floored horse arena. Your shoes should be comfortable and ready to hit the dance floor! Heels are strongly discouraged.

Question

Is there a shuttle back to Durango after the reception?

Answer

No, please establish a DD for safe travels back to your accommodation post festivities.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm. A tractor shuttle will begin making multiple trips from the reception area to the ceremony site at 3:15. A few groomsman will also help shuttle people with golf carts.

Question

How far is the ceremony site from the reception area

Answer

Approximately 400 yards.

Question

A horse ranch? Can I pet the horses??

Answer

NO. Please keep yourself and all children away from the horses. Tuxon Ranch is a working horse ranch that people pay to board their horses, not a petting zoo. Tuxon Ranch will be onsite to redirect those away from unauthorized areas.

Question

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Tuxon Ranch has a huge open lot for parking.
