Take a walk down Bourbon Street with a hand grenade or Big Ass Beer and check out the lively scenes as you pass various bars and restaurants. For a slightly quieter and artsy stroll, check out Royal Street one block over. Conveniently located 1 block from our wedding venue, this park is home to the historical Congo Square, where enslaved and free people in the 1800s would gather and celebrate music, which played a significant role in the development of Jazz. Quaint little neighborhood situated on a small bayou. Also home to New Orleans City Park, one of the largest parks in the USA. Check out the New Orleans Botanical Gardens, Louisiana Children Museum, and the New Orleans Museum of Art, the largest grove of mature live oaks in the world, and of course, countless other activities and entertainment.
