Join us for a drink and say hi before the big day! Come and go as you please, or stay the entire time. It is a bar and lounge, with bites as well if you come hungry. Vibes of the place is Art Deco with lots of comfy sofas and seats. The bar is actually called Lobby Bar, we are not getting drinks at the bar in the hotel lobby 😂 Attendance is not mandatory, but we’d love to see you!

Our ceremony

This event is black attire (embellishments are fine so long as the primary color is black - men, you can wear white shirts...)
We kindly ask that guests refrain from being on their phones or taking pictures during the ceremony as to ensure there are no disruptions or distractions. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time, as the ceremony will start promptly at 5pm and no late arrivals will be permitted. Please note there are no kids allowed at this time due to budget; there is also an unfenced pool in the courtyard that we will have access to all night and do not want anyone to have to worry about any accidents.
Cocktail Hour
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony, where we will hear speeches, have some bites and drinks, mingle and take photos with guests while the venue flips the ceremony area into the reception. Following speeches, guests are free to change into their costumes. Cocktail hour will be held in a room right off of the venue courtyard. Please note: There is a pool on this side of the courtyard that we will have access to all night. There is no fence or barrier surrounding the pool.

Since we will be celebrating our nuptials in the middle of spooky season, in one of the spookiest cities, during Lexa's personal favorite holiday, our reception party will be doubling as a Halloween party! Those who do not wish to don a costume do not have to; we simply ask that you remain in your ceremony outfits to match the vibe of the reception. We will have masks and other Halloween themed-props in the event that you forget your own, or decide midway through that you do want to join in and have a scary fun time. COSTUMES/MASKS ARE OPTIONAL. The only costumes that are off limits are Morticia and Gomez Addams... *wink* We will have two open bars, non-alcoholic beverages, and dinner will be buffet style. There is no assigned seating or tables so please feel free to sit wherever you would like. Reception starts at 6:30, and will end promptly at 9:30 to ensure that we meet and do not exceed contractual obligations.
Second Line - Time to celebrate our new life together!

A second line is a traditional New Orleans celebration that initially originated to celebrate life at funerals. Nowadays, this celebration is held for almost any major event, from an H&M opening on Canal St. to weddings. So, after we have danced the night away, we will have our second line to send us off on our new life together! Wedding guests will follow the band, and of course the bride and groom, out onto the streets with drinks and party favors in hand to announce to the city that we're MARRIED! Second line will involve walking/marching/dancing for several blocks and stopping at Pat O' Brien's to continue on with after-partying on Bourbon Street. Please note that the bar and Bourbon street is strictly 21+ -- their rules, not ours!
