Oaxaca is the birthplace of our personal favorite liquor, Mezcal. If you happen to already be in town and looking for something to do, consider kicking off our wedding weekend by joining us for a visit to a local mezcal distillery and tasting. Transportation will be provided to and from. Check back for more details. If Mezcal isn't your thing or you'd rather spend the day exploring the city, we get it! Oaxaca is a beautiful city with lots to experience, check out our "Things To Do" page for other ideas.
4:00 pm - 11:45 pm
Cocktail Attire: For the ladies: cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and floral prints. Choose your shoes wisely, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be in a grassy area and the reception will be on large cobblestone flooring. Gentlemen: Suits or jackets and slacks in dark or lighter hues or a fun pattern to spice it up.
The moment we've been planning for is finally here! Join us as we say "I do" and celebrate accordingly. The bar will be open 30 minutes before the ceremony begins, feel free to arrive a little early to grab a drink and mingle. Cocktails are welcome during the ceremony. Cocktail hour and reception to follow.

Casual/Pool day attire
For those of you staying in town, and haven't gotten enough of us yet. We'll be hanging out by the pool for the day, relaxing and recapping our special day. Sundays are a quiet day in the city, a day reserved for family and many locals have the day off. There won't be as much open as the other days of the week but it is a nice time to stroll the streets if you'd like. The later afternoons and into the evenings liven up as some more restaurants open and families spend some time outside. If you feel like branching out of the main city center, a popular Sunday activity is a visit to the Tlacolula Sunday Market, located about 45 minutes from the city.
