While many of you have probably heard our story first hand, here it is again;) We first met at Dream City Church summer of 2023, in a brief group conversation after service. Neither of us knew who the other one was, but we had the help of our third party matchmaker, Erich Spinos. Only a few weeks after we initially met, Erich reached out to each of us and set us up for a Thursday night date. Our first date changed plans about five times day of because the airline industry schedule is uncertain and the aircraft fueler didn't show up for work that day in Kona, causing a massive delay. If you're in the industry, you probably recognize this as a classic faux pas of making plans on "go home day", something is bound to happen. All to say the first date, and Ben's flexibility set the tone for the start of a beautiful story full of spontaneity and flexible plans. We have traveled to so many states, from Hawaii to New York, and even out of the country to visit friends and family and start out on seeing the world together. When we are not traveling, chances are we are probably playing pickle ball or flying around somewhere! God has blessed our lives with such amazing opportunity, friends, and family. We feel so loved and supported by all of you in everything that we do and pursue. We simply cannot wait to celebrate with you and personally thank you for the role you have all played in our lives and community.
