Château du Feÿ

The main reason we chose the Château is so many of our family and friends can stay together on the grounds (either in the Château or in the surrounding buildings). However, depending on our final guest count, the Château may not be able to host every guest on site. Because we will not know who can stay at the Château until June, we have reserved enough hotel rooms for all guests on your behalf. So, there is no need to make a separate hotel booking. Then, in June, we will assign rooms and transfer the hotel reservations if need be. The cost to stay at the Château will be $50-125 per night per person, depending on the space offered. To make things easier for our guests, we will accept payment for the rooms (via venmo or cash app) and pay the Château in one sum. If you were offered a space in the Château, but plan to book a separate hotel or airbnb, please let Dominique or Jordon know ASAP. We expect to know our final guest count and room assignments by June 2025. Below is the link to the Google Maps of the Château du Feÿ.

Hôtel Restaurant Le Rive Gauche

Le Rive Gauche Hotel is located only 10 minutes from the Château. Because we will not know who can stay at the Château until June, we have reserved enough hotel rooms for all guests on your behalf. So, there is no need to make a separate hotel booking. Then, in June, we will assign rooms and transfer the hotel reservations if need be. The cost to stay at the Hotel will be $65-90 per night per person, depending on the room requested. If you prefer to stay at the hotel regardless of the availability at the Château, please let Dominique and Jordon know as soon as possible.

Bus to the Château and Hotel

September 1, 2025 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

We will be providing a bus to transport our guests to and from Paris. The bus pick up is at 12:00 PM and will be at Bercy Station in Paris, which is easily accessible by train and Uber. The bus will arrive in Joigny around 3:00 PM and make two stops: first, at the hotel, and second, at the Château. Please note these pick up times are subject to change slightly. If you prefer to take the train or rent a car, please let Dominique or Jordon know ASAP. If you plan on taking the train, no shuttle will be provided from the Joigny train station to the Château.

Bus Back to Paris

September 3, 2025 2:30 pm - 5:15 pm

We will be providing a bus to transport our guests back to Paris. The bus pick up is at 2:30 PM and will pick up guests from the Château at 2:30 PM. The bus is expected to arrive at Bercy Station in Paris at 5:15 PM. Please note these pick up times are subject to change slightly. If you prefer to take the train or rent a car, please let Dominique or Jordon know ASAP. If you plan on taking the train, no shuttle will be provided from the the Château to the Joigny train station.

Getting to the Château by Train

Château du Feÿ is only a 1 hour 10 minute train ride from Paris. You can leave from either the Lyon or Bercy stations in Paris, and taking a direct train (TER) to Joigny. The Château is then only a 10-15 minute drive from the Joigny Train Station. No transport will be provided from the Joigny station to the Château. Note: please see our itinerary section when booking travel, so you do not miss any events!

Getting to the Château by Car

Château du Feÿ is just 1 hour and 30 minute drive from Paris on the A6. Simply take exit 18 towards Joigny, then drive 15km before taking the turning for Villecien. There is plenty of onsite parking on site. If you are coming to the Château directly from the airport, we recommend renting a car as there is no direct train to the Château from the airports. The Château is a 1.5 hour drive from Paris-Orly Airport and a 2 hour drive from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. If you are spending time in Paris before our wedding, we do not recommend renting a car to explore Paris itself. If you prefer to rent a car to drive to the Château, we recommend renting it at an airport or outside the city.

Flying to Paris

Paris has two major airports, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (northeast of the city) and Paris-Orly Airport (south of the city). Both airports offer easy access to the city via train. We suggest selecting the airport with the best flight for you (usually shortest and cheapest). We recommend using Google Flights or Hopper to search for flights from your departing airport to Paris. Be sure to select the city Paris and not an individual airport—that way, you will see results for both airports if applicable. You can then set a flight alert and you will be notified if and when the ticket prices drop. Ticket prices will vary over the next year, but we recommend booking your flight no later than June 1, 2025.

Flying with Points

If you are like us and like to use credit card points to book your flight, we recommend checking out the following airlines, most of which are point-transfer partners with either Chase, Capital One, Amex, or Citi Bank credit cards: * Air France * Air Canada * American Airlines * Virgin Atlantic Airlines Air France will be the best bet for most of our guests as they offer many direct flights from Newark and indirect flights from Philadelphia.
