The Wedding Website of Jordon Rapoport and Dominique Montoya
If you plan on extending your trip, either before or after Our Wedding, we, of course, recommend spending some time in Paris. There are many sites to see that are easy to learn about. So instead of focusing on the obvious, we wanted to share some tips and recommendations that helped us on our first visit.
Getting to Know Paris

Getting to Know Paris

France

Paris is broken up into 20 sections referred to as arrondissements. We would recommend staying in the inner arrondissements, more specifically 1-7, as they are closer to the main sights and local transportation. We stayed in the 4th and loved it—quiet yet plenty to do (night life included), close to transportation, and steps from the Seine River. We were approximately a 30 minute subway ride from the Eiffel Tower, for reference. If you’re looking to splurge on a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower: We recommend staying in the 7th. If you want to be the closest to the main sites: We recommend the 1st, although it will likely be the most expensive. The train station (Lyon or Bercy) that will take you to the Château is located in the 12th, closest to the 4th and 5th arrondissements, but easily accessible by train or bus. The below article explains the other arrondissements and we recommend reviewing it to help determine where is best for your stay.

Take a Bike Tour

Take a Bike Tour

Paris, France

When we travel, we love to do a tour on our first morning to get the lay of the land. For Paris, the biking tours are safe, easy, fun, and a great way to see the main sites. Below is a link to the Airbnb Tour we took and would 100% recommended.

Dine at Le Saint-Regis

Dine at Le Saint-Regis

6 Rue Jean du Bellay, Paris, IDF 75004, France

This place is special to us because we shared our first dinner in France here. The (french) onion soup is a must! If they have the Saint Tropez Tarte, save room for dessert and thank us later.

Croissants & Baguettes are Mandatory

To find these delicacies, you'll want to head to a Boulangerie (bakery). We saved our favorites in a Google Map List and the link to that is below.

Strolls the Streets and Parks

We also recommend dedicating some time for strolling and getting lost in Paris. We have included a link to a Google Maps of some of the most picturesque streets and parks to guide you on your wanderlust.
