Yes! Your invitation includes a plus one if not specifically named.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

No, but Uber, Lyft, and the Metro are great options. Please download the DC metro app to plan out routes and best stations closest to different spots all around town.

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Street parking is available, and a few parking garages are available near SUCCOTASH. However, taking and Uber or Lyft would likely be the easier option.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please see the Travel page of our website. If you would like to stay in Northern Virginia, please make sure to stay somewhere near a metro. Airbnb or a VRBO would be a great option as well!

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

Anytime after 6:00pm is great! Our reception celebration will go until 9:00pm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Ultimately, yes. If you have little ones and are comfortable bringing them to the reception, please do! However, this is as much your night to celebrate as it is ours! If you would prefer to leave you kids at home with a babysitter, that works for us.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, cocktail attire please. But do make sure to be comfortable! If your heels are too high or your collar is too tight, feel free to loosen that up a bit or wear flats!

Are you getting married before the reception?

Answer

Yes, we are having an intimate wedding ceremony in the morning of the 10th with family.
