How to Get to the DC War Memorial: The Memorial is located on a foot path just north of Independence Ave SW. All modes of transportation will require some walking. The easiest option would be to take an Uber/Lyft and ask the driver to drop off at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and walk north across Independence Ave SW. There is also hourly street parking available near the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Metro is not a good option to get to the War Memorial. **The National Park Services has asked that we make sure to wear face masks during the ceremony and in between photos.** 10 chairs will be provided. There are only a few seating assignments, all of which will be labeled with names. Otherwise please choose any seat you would like and there will be standing room available for social distancing! Please make sure to dress accordingly to the weather, as the ceremony and pictures will be held outside. Photos will take place after the ceremony.

Casual Attire: Jeans works! Make sure to bring a sweater or jacket in case it gets a little chilly after sunset.
There will be catered BBQ and tacos, as well as some appetizers, sweet treats from Georgetown cupcake and our wedding cake! We will have a choice of wine, beer, soda, water, and two cocktails to choose from.

The reception will be held on the second floor mezzanine. The staircase to the mezzanine is on the first floor behind the bar on the right- hand side. There will be a sign to direct you as well! There will be classic, bite-sizes Southern dishes as well as cocktails. Can’t wait to see you!
