Yes! All guests will need a valid passport. Please ensure yours doesn’t expire within 6 months of our travel dates.
We originally planned to work with a travel agent, but we’ve decided to manage bookings ourselves instead. You do not need to go through a travel agent — please book your stay at Dreams Sapphire directly through the resort’s website (or your preferred booking platform). We’ll share recommended room types, estimated rates, and booking tips here on our wedding website to make things simple and clear.
Yes! Food, drinks (including alcohol), entertainment, and most activities are included in your stay.
Yes, you’re welcome to stay elsewhere if you prefer. However, in order to attend the wedding events at Dreams Sapphire, you’ll need to purchase a day pass from the resort. 10am-11pm $130 per person per day or wedding pass (1hr before to 1 hr after): $80 per person. Please note that day passes are limited and may not always be guaranteed, so we strongly recommend staying on-site if possible. It also makes things easier (and more fun!) for everyone to be together throughout the celebration.
Absolutely — the resort is family-friendly, and we’d love to celebrate with your little ones.
Pricing depends on your room type and length of stay. For the Deluxe Junior Suite Tropical View, the rates per night are: -Single occupancy: $318 -Double occupancy (adults): $200 per adult -Triple occupancy (adults): $200 per adult -Children (ages 2–12): $90 per child
We recommend booking your room as soon as possible. Room rates are set by the resort and are subject to change based on availability, so booking early gives you the best chance to secure your preferred room at the lowest price. Availability is not guaranteed if you wait.
Tipping is not required, but it’s definitely appreciated! The staff at Dreams Sapphire work hard to make your experience amazing, and a few dollars here and there go a long way. Here’s a general guideline if you'd like to tip: -$1–2 per drink at the bar or pool -$5–10 at à la carte restaurants -$1–2 for bellhops and room service -$5–10 for transportation drivers or excursion guides U.S. dollars are perfectly fine—just bring small bills
Our wedding ceremony and reception are the main events, but we’re also planning optional group activities like a welcome cocktail and a fun excursion. Full itinerary coming soon!
Yes! We’re planning a group catamaran tour or something equally fun. Details will be shared closer to the date.

Most major U.S. carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) include free or low-cost international coverage in Mexico. We recommend checking your plan ahead of time. Resort Wi-Fi is also available and works well in most areas.
During the day, anything goes—swimwear, coverups, shorts, sandals. For dinners at à la carte restaurants, the resort follows a “resort casual” or “elegant casual”. Certain restaurants have more strict dress codes but most of them are fairly causal. More information on the restaurants are on the Dreams Sapphire website. The wedding itself will have a “Beach Semi-Formal” vibe. More details on that in the schedule!
