Our story started like most great ones do—with a first date, a little nervous energy, and one of us (not naming names) making the other wait over a month for a second date. Thankfully, Jordan was nothing if not persistent, patient, and incredibly kind. When the second date finally happened, he showed up with flowers, took me to dinner, and walked me to the door like a true gentleman—ending the night with a kiss on the front porch. After that, we were pretty much inseparable. We spent as much time together as we could—going to concerts, cooking dinner, walking our dog Gus, and slowly falling in love. That summer, we made memories on the lake, went on vacations with Jordan’s family, and somehow I convinced him that spending weekends helping with yard work and painting my house was a fun couples activity (he didn’t even complain… much). Somewhere between dog walks, road trips, and cooking dinners (mainly Jordan cooking and me distracting him), we realized this was it. Now here we are, getting ready to say “I do,” and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all the people who’ve cheered us on along the way. Gus approves, too. ❤️
