Abby and Gracie have been best friends for years, and share the same hometown of Demopolis, Alabama! The two were in the same kindergarten class and reconnected years later in high school. Abby is like a sister to Gracie, and the two have shared countless roadtrips to the coast and visits to each other in the various cities in which they each have lived over the years. Gracie served as Abby's maid-of-honor in her 2016 wedding, and is honored Abby will be by her side during her own special day! Abby has been a rock for Gracie over the years and is truly the best and most loyal friend anyone could ever hope for.
Jasper Verdam
Best Man
Seeing as Jordan and Jasper met in China, worked together, played football together, lived together, and laughed together, some will be surprised that they didn't end up together. But alas, it was not meant to be. Gracie came in and stole Jordan from this tall Dutchman. Jordan cannot think of a better person to be his best man than Jasper, whom he thinks very highly of. Jordan is especially looking forward to Jasper's best man speech. A rock in defence on the football (soccer) field, Jasper has also always been there for Jordan - despite Jordan's amazement at how Jasper has managed to put up with him throughout all these years. A truly reliable friend, Jordan is honoured to be able to have Jasper by his side on his big day.
Erin Curtis Grom
Bridesmaid
Erin and Gracie lived together for two years in Memphis, Tennessee after college. They shared many fun times, including being broke together and figuring out this "adulting" thing. Erin is an amazing cook and Gracie always enjoyed eating whatever Erin made! The two have kept in close touch over the years, hanging out in NYC when Erin lived there as a student as well and in Chicago when Erin moved there after getting her physical therapy degree! One of Gracie's favorite memories with Erin is when they shared a "friendsgiving" in NYC during Thanksgiving 2016 with various family and friends--of course Erin made a tremendous delicious meal and Gracie brought the wine! Gracie has always admired Erin's determination and generous spirit.
Robin Campbell
Groomsman
As Jordan's elder middle brother, Robin shares Jordan's love of sports, Liverpool Football Club, and spouting off random movie quotes that no one else around seems to get. An amazing cook, jack-of-all trades and tax whizz, Robin's many talents will be of no use in his role as Groomsman - unless guests are smart enough to bring their own food ingredients, house renovation plans, and their tax returns to the wedding. Growing up, Robin and Jordan would find any excuse to place a wager on their sporting abilities, playing football, tennis or ping pong to decide who was the better of the two - most of the time both refusing to stop play, even when it was dark outside! Jordan has always admired Robin's street-wise savvy, generosity, and ability to make people feel included.
Valerie Ray
Bridesmaid
Valerie and Gracie are cousins and have shared many fun memories and misadventures over the years. As Gracie and Valerie are both only children, the two share a special bond as sisters. Valerie, an avid skier and snowboarder, even taught Gracie how to ski on a visit to Denver a few years back! Some of Gracie's favorite memories with Valerie are from Thanksgivings in Mississippi over the years, particularly "Wild Turkey Wednesdays." Gracie is so grateful for their years of friendship and Valerie's support over the years, and admires Valerie's wit and fun-spirited approach to life.
Ben Campbell
Groomsman
Jordan has always suspected his eldest brother, Ben, to have been a product of the milkman. Not a fellow ginger, of a larger build, and useless at most sports, Ben makes up for what he lacks in these areas with wit, sarcasm and a great ability to find humour in every situation. Jordan has always looked up to Ben, and growing up always wanted to be like him. Ben, being one of the popular lads at school, always laid a foundation for his peers in the years below him to protect Jordan from the rigours of boarding school hazing and general life. Never the most academic in early life, Ben has proven himself to be great at his job, and, like Robin, has a wonderful and loving family around him. Ben, Robin & Jordan have a unique bond that distance never seems to affect.
Jess Balling
Bridesmaid
Jess was one of Gracie's first friends when she moved to NYC. The two have shared many adventures together over the years, including countless random nights out, annual Halloween parties and holiday girls brunches, running a half-marathon together (Jess left Gracie in the dust!), and even meeting up in Paris. One of Gracie's favorite memories with Jess is when the two ran into each other by chance on the Paris subway when they were already on the way to meet up with each other, and started jumping up and down and shrieking with happiness (probably much to the annoyance of the surrounding Parisians!) Gracie admires Jess as a strong, generous, and selfless friend who knows how to have a great time!
Mim Winter
Officiant
Mim and Jordan both met and studied at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Despite being from Bawston, USA, Mim clearly went to St Andrew's for one reason - hoping to snag Prince William. Things didn't work out, and instead, she has the higher honour of being Jordan & Gracie's officiant. Who needs to be a princess, really? They both have now known each other for almost 20 years, and have never failed to keep in touch, even though Jordan has been in China, and Mim in the USA. Gracie & Jordan are delighted to have asked Mim to lead their wedding ceremony, and can't think of anyone they would love more to have in this role on their special day. Mim's personality, warm heart and great sense of humour will be the perfect fit!
Islay Campbell
Flower Girl
Islay is Jordan's niece and will be joining us all the way from Australia! She is ready for her starring role in the ceremony, and we are confident that she will relish the limelight. A future diva, Islay's personality sparkles just as much as the princess dresses she loves to wear. Smart and confident, little Islay is an amazing young lady and we are honoured to have her as our Flower Girl!
Beau Campbell
Ring Bearer
Beau is Jordan's nephew, who will also be joining us all the way from Australia! Beau is ready to bring his Captain America skills to the role of ring bearer. A happy, smiling mischievous rascal who loves to swim and do art, this wee man is adored by Jordan and Gracie. He is a real bundle of joy!
Beatrix Campbell
Flower Girl
Beatrix is Jordan's niece, and will be joining us all the way from Scotland! Beatrix is ready to rock out as a flower girl! With her love of eating and singing, often at the same time, Trixie will likely be the next to win Britain's Got Talent. Jordan and Gracie love their wee niece, and cannot wait to see her again in her starring role at the wedding.
