In the 1840s, Naylor Hall was built as a simple 4-room clapboard cottage with a central fireplace by Roswell King for his employee, H.W. Proudfoot, who worked as the bookkeeper at Roswell Mill. Naylor Hall was NOT a plantation, which is important to us! Additions to the house, including the columns and portico, were later added in the 1930s after the property was purchased by Colonel Harrison Broadwell, who renamed the property Naylor Hall in honor of his wife's family.
We understand that we live in a different world today than we did 2 years ago, and that everyone has various levels of comfort when it comes to COVID. Needless to say, we did not ever want to face the scenario of having our wedding during a pandemic, but we, like everyone, have learned to adapt. If you have not received the COVID vaccine, we kindly ask that you wear a mask throughout the festivities. If you have received the COVID vaccine, a mask will not be required, but please feel free to wear one to the extent you feel comfortable doing so. We ask that ALL guests (regardless of vaccine status) wear a mask while visiting the buffet and use hand sanitizer immediately before visiting the buffet (there will be hand sanitizer available in the line). There will also be hand sanitizer available throughout the premises. Also, our venue takes regular various precautions to ensure a safe and fun experience for all.

Our wedding hashtag is #lovemadeinChina, because our love, like so many other things over the last few decades, was made in China! Please use this hashtag on your social media so we can see all posted pics after the wedding!
