It all started in October of 2018. Jordan was a wide-eyed freshman, Eli a slightly more seasoned sophomore, and both happened to find themselves at Shabbat dinner at Chabad of Cal Poly—a place that would soon feel like their home away from home. They met standing in the Rabbi’s kitchen and ended up chatting and flirting throughout the night. But despite the connection, both left with no intention of starting a relationship. Seven years later, here we are—proof that sometimes the best things happen when you're not looking for them. The rest, as they say, is history.
