One of the most beautiful hikes we've ever been on with an old train tunnel and waterfalls! The first part of the hike is fairly easy, and harder the farther you go.

We have this pizza every time we go up! Such good crust and the veggie is just as delicious as the all meat. Get a beer while you wait. You can't go wrong!

Columbia State Historic Park
Get immersed in California’s Gold Rush history in Columbia State Historic Park where you can stroll along wooden sidewalks, ride an authentic stagecoach, pan for riches of gold, and chat with knowledgeable and friendly townspeople dressed in period attire. Historic inns, restaurants, working blacksmith shop, old-fashioned bowling alley, theatre, and shops. Chris and I wandered around for hours (don't forget the historic fire station) even in 110 degree weather!
