Flight Information

There are many ways to get to the Amalfi Coast. The cheapest option for those flying from California is through Los Angeles (the prices are almost half the SD options). The cheapest option is flying directly into Rome (Norwegian air is the cheapest I've seen atm). From there you can either jump on a flight to Naples, take the train down the coast, or rent or hire a car for a scenic drive (super fun to add stops along the way). The closest airport to Ravello is the Naples International Airport. There are no direct flights from California to Naples - however you can fly through London, Paris or Rome quite easily From there the drive is roughly 45 minutes. Try organizing flights with your family and friends to share shuttles for a mini celebration en route to the Amalfi Coast! The first big event is on Friday, May 17th at Hotel Caruso. For anyone who makes the trek a bit earlier, we will update you on all the pre-wedding events!

Getting around Ravello

Ravello is a tiny little town located on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Other than transportation to and from the airport, you will not need transportation within the town. The entire town is roughly 2km long (less than 1.3 miles) and all wedding events will take place within a 15 min walk of each other! If you are renting a car and driving through Italy, please remember to call your hotel and inform them! There is very limited parking in the town so they will need to know ahead of time in order to accommodate you. We also highly recommend brining flat shoes/sandals for walking to and from venues or even just for walking around the town. Ravello still maintains its original, uneven, cobblestone streets. It certainly adds to the charm of the town but isn't the most practical for those wearing heels.

The Caruso is an 11th century hotel now run by Belmond Ltd, which guarantees the finest attention to detail. It's a 5 star hotel near the heart of town, has a spectacular pool and view, and amazing pizza! Plus, its the venue for Friday's welcome party!

The Palazzo Avino is a stunning hotel located near the heart of town. What was once a twelfth century Italian villa was reopened as a 5 star hotel, complete with a Michelin star restaurant, sweeping views of the coast, and true Amalfi charm.
