We're Getting Married!

Jordan met Hailey in 2006 at her Sweet 16 - unfortunately for him, she still has no recollection of this encounter. The next time they met was six months later in multimedia class at Cathedral Catholic High School. This time, however, he made an impression, and that impression has lasted for over a decade. High school blew by in a blur of soccer, school dances, and studying (at least for one of them) and before they knew it, they were heading for Universities on opposite coasts. Throughout college Jordan played soccer, Hailey read a lot and they both had their fair share of fun, but though many miles separated them, they always remained close. Fast forward to 2015 when their romance reignited. After only a few months, Jordan moved to Los Angeles and they've been inseparable ever since. Almost exactly ten years after their first meeting, Jordan proposed in Positano. Ironically, Hailey was so shocked that again, she can scarcely remember the moment. The couple lives in West Hollywood with Kaya, the cutest cavalier around.

At the tail end of our two week trip to Europe, we headed to Positano, one of H's favorite towns in the world. In front of the breathtaking views at the Hotel San Pietro, J recited her favorite poem, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. H's first response was, "Is this really happening?" followed promptly by "of course." They spent the rest of the day sipping wine in Ravello and as they walked the gardens of Villa Cimbrone, they both thought what a lovely place it would be for a wedding.
