Question

When should I RSVP by?When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 2025 or sooner if possible.

Question

We are coming from out of State/Country, when and how long should I stay?We are coming from out of State/Country, when and how long should I stay?

Answer

Please do what works best for you and your budget! However our suggestion is for Family and Friends on opposite weeks so we can have quality time with everyone visiting. Family: August 25th - Sept. 1st Friends August 29th - Sept 5th. This is just a suggestion and we understand some of you may just be visiting for the weekend and some of you may be planning and even longer trip. Let us know what you anticipate so we can support you joining the celebration as much as possible. :)

Question

Where do I stay in Boise?Where do I stay in Boise?

Answer

Boise is a relatively small city with a nearby airport, plenty of hotels and airbnb options. We will not have space in our home to host anyone so if you are coming with a group of friends/family it is recommended to organize and airbnb. However, all of the hotels in the area are within walking distance of most things to do. I had made a comprehensive map of neighborhoods that are a reasonable distance from activities along with local hotels and points of interest on this Google Map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1N9sP3IY_n-ft4V4cojieM6mAiuXR7sE&usp=sharing There are many layers, so do not forget to close them in order to find what you might be looking for.

Question

Will I need to rent a car? Will I need to rent a car?

Answer

NO! Unless you really want to. The airport shuttle will take you straight downtown. Ubers are relatively cheap. Everything we will be doing is within walking distance of everything else. A car is not necessary for the weekend. However, you may want to explore the area and in that case anything beyond downtown Boise will likely require a vehicle.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding? Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be enjoying our family and friends throughout the weeks/weekend at various places and events. Feel free to join in the fun wherever and whenever works for you. Main events are Zoo/Float/Hot Airballoons/Reception during the weekend. If you are family, we will be planning events the week BEFORE for quality time in/around Boise. If you are friends we are planning a ton of events AFTER so let us know if you want to stick around and enjoy Boise and beyond with us.

Question

What time should I arrive at the reception? What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

Greeting Party and Photos at Kathryn Albertson Park will be at 12pm with some champagne. Transportation Shuttles to the main party will leave from there at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to join that. Otherwise please arrive at 3pm to the main party at Marianne Williams Park to grab a glass of bubbles, eat dinner, play games, give a speech, and enjoy the celebration.

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

We don't have many opportunities to dress up so get dolled up, wear something festive that you can dance in, that makes you feel beautiful, and will be comfortable enough for a warm summer night. However, there is no strict dress code so wear what makes you feel glamorous and comfortable.

Question

Can I bring a date?Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus ones will be limited to significant others. Immediate family and friends are welcome and encouraged to bring the children.

Question

Are kids welcome?Are kids welcome?

Answer

Bring the kiddos to the party! We want all our loved ones big or small to take part in our celebration. We will have designated kid friendly activities and a chaperone so parents can enjoy the party too. :)

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know as soon as possible!

Question

Is there parking for the reception? Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

There is parking at Kathryn Albertson Park and across the street at Ann Morrison Park. We highly recommend getting an uber from your accommodation to limit cars in the parking lot and to have a fun and safe night. However, we will be shuttling to and from Kathryn Albertson park as a central location so feel free to park there. We will be providing a shuttle service from Kathryn Albertson Park to Marianne Williams Park to the party and back to Kathryn Albertson once the party is over. There is parking at Marianne Williams Park but it is a small parking lot in a neighborhood so carpooling/shuttle/uber is highly recommended.

Question

Should I bring a gift?Should I bring a gift?

Answer

NO! Please! Your presence is the gift.
