Millennials rejoice! Ubers and Lyft are available on Kauai (though they are more limited than in the US, so be prepared to wait). There are also a few taxi services available, however not all accept credit cards, so be sure to have cash on hand. You may also want to consider renting a car, particularly if you’re planning on doing lots of exploring.
We will have a trolley available for guests to hop on both before and after the wedding. Check out the “Let the Festivities Begin” page for more details. As noted above, you may also grab an Uber/Lyft or a taxi. Lastly, there is parking available at The Beach House, so you are also welcome to drive yourself.
The private bar opens at 4:30 PM. Enough said.
Though we love the little ones, we hope you understand that our ceremony and reception space is limited. We have thus decided to make Friday an 'Adults Only' evening (with the exception of infants). Let this be an opportunity for you to let your hair down and enjoy a special occasion away from home!
We are not. No gifts please. Just bring us your charming smile and your best dance moves!
We figured we better include these little tidbits.. Like most other states, it is illegal to have alcohol on the sandy beaches of Hawaii, particularly alcohol in glass containers. However IF you happen to spill some rum into your tumbler, you will be fine. Use a coozie for your Busch latte. And if you bring a cooler to the beach, just layer it's contents appropriately. :) Along those same lines, all of the Hawaiian islands have an outdoor noise ordinance after 10:00 PM. At that time, bring the shenanigans inside.
