We'd love to see our family & friends look and feel their best for our special day. The dress code is "tropical" festive-formal attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear bright, airy dresses, from knee-length to floor. Gentlemen may wear a suit or dress shirt and slacks with an optional tie - linens and Bermuda shorts with a jacket are acceptable. Tropical print shirts are encouraged. As the ceremony is under the shade, we ask that ladies and gents leave the fancy hats at home. No jeans or white, please! Need some inspiration? We’ve got you covered: https://pin.it/XVpdSJR P.S. The ceremony is on the lawn so plan your footwear accordingly.
Yes, there will be transportation to and from the hotels reserved under our room blocks to the venue. The buses will leave promptly at 4pm from both locations and return at 8:30pm and 10pm. For more details, please visit the "Travel" page. And while there is onsite parking available, we ask guests who plan to drink to utilize a rideshare service or the shuttle instead.
A short ceremony will begin at 5:00pm, followed by a cocktail hour & reception. In order to allow for a timely start, we ask that guests arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the ceremony. Any guests that arrive after the processional has started will be asked to wait until the ceremony has finished.
The ceremony & cocktail hour will take place outside. The reception will be held inside.
We are having an unplugged ceremony and ask that all phones & electronic devices be put away during that time. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say, "I do." We have hired professionals to capture the moment for us and we promise to share these as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to document the celebration with as many photos as you'd like!
Yes! Beer, wine, and cocktails are on us. (The next day's hangover we can't be held responsible for, though.)
Hilton Head Island holds a special place in the Bride's heart after spending many summer vacations there with her family growing up. Beyond that, its beautiful Spanish moss, palmettos, and pristine beaches provide a perfect backdrop for a romantic celebration like a wedding! We can't wait to share this magical place with you and hope you end up loving the Lowcountry as much as we do.
At this time, our hotel blocks & discounted stays have expired. If you’d still like to stay at one of the hotels, you may visit the “Travel” section of our site for more information.
In order to provide the final guest count to our venue, we marked all those that did not RSVP ahead of the deadline as unable to attend. You will be missed!
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only (21+) event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this weekend as a relaxing, fun getaway.
