Joné and Ashley met freshman year of college at the University of Oklahoma. The two of them became roommates for the remainder of the year and pursued the same two majors. They have been best friends ever since and try to do yearly trips together.

Owen and David met the summer before Highschool during a swim camp. They became best friends and had many memorable times in high school on the water polo team. Owen and David's friendship continued into college when both attended A&M and continued to share great memories and long evenings in each other's apartments.

Joné and Hannah met through her husband David, who is the Groom's best friend. They became fast friends as it was evident they would be in each other's lives forever. Hannah got married in November 2023, and has been giving the Bride lots of tips and advice for the big day!

Owen met Tyler his first semester at A&M because they were roommates. Owen and Tyler have since become great friends who shared great times and memories at football games and golf trips. Tyler was Owen's introduction to A&M traditions and has been a great friend to couple ever since.

Rona met Joné several years ago at a South African get-together. Rona is like the older sister the Bride never had and often joins the family for events. She is always ready to give life advice and has become a loved member of the Herselman family.

Owen and Erik met freshman year on the FMHS swim team. Both of them were on the water polo team and attended many tournaments over the years. They both share a love of golf and often try to play together. Erik has been an amazing friend for many years.
Tiaan Herselman
Bridesman
Tiaan is the older brother and closest friend to Joné for over 24 years. He is one of her biggest supporters and protectors. Even though they live hours apart, they are still very present in each other's lives and make an effort to stay connected. Tiaan is one of the kindest people and the Bride has learned a lot about compassion from him. Tiaan and Warren will be escorting the Bride's mom down the aisle.

Warren is Owen's older brother and has been a great source of guidance and inspiration for the Groom. The two regularly play golf and try to connect on weekends as Warren and his wife moved back to the DFW area. Warren and Owen have shared a lifetime of exciting, brotherly adventures. Jouliene is the Mother of the Bride. She has been one her daughter's biggest supporters in all aspects of life. She helped to foster a relationship based on God and continuously encourages the couple throughout their journey. She raised the Bride to be morally strong, a Godly woman, and continues to be someone who spreads light wherever she goes. Jouliene helped to plan the whole wedding and made the experience very joyful and fun!

Father of the Bride
Morné is the Father of the Bride. He has been one of his daughter's biggest protectors in all aspects of life. He taught Joné the meaning of hard-work and sacrifice. He helped her get up every time she fell and never left her side when things got tough. He picked the venue and helped bring the couple's dreams to life. He will be walking the Bride down the aisle.

Monika is the mother of the groom. She spent years teaching him what it means to be a gentleman, a chef, and a caring individual. She helped him to be morally strong, picked him up when he was down, and continues to be an amazingly loving mother and a shining light to all who know her. Owen and his mother continue to love to cook together.

Jeff is the father of the groom. His goal in life was to raise "indestructible men" and from this Owen has prospered from his guidance and wisdom as he taught Owen to be hardworking, honest, and loyal. Owen and his father enjoy building fires, shooting, hiking, and playing games. Jeff is one of Owens best friends and they enjoy all the time they have together.
