Where do we park at the vow renewal ceremony?

Answer

There is ample parking right outside the main doors at the church!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please rsvp by January 17th, 2026. This should give us time to adjust for changes to the menu and blocking rooms.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi formal! Please dress nice, but be comfy!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Please bring the kids! There are stairs at the reception, so please make sure to be careful around them as there is no gate to block them from falling if they are super little.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The groom is allergic to shellfish and so that will be kept separate from the main foods. Also, we will have a gluten free selected main dish and cupcakes for guests to enjoy!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel section on our website as we have blocked off rooms for people who are coming in from out of town or simply wish to stay the night without having to drive.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is on the South side of Battle Creek and the reception is on the Northern side so there will be no transportation. If you stay at the Double Tree it is in within a short 5 minute walk from the reception.

If you are bringing a guest, or children, please indicate so when responding to the invitation.

Is there an age limit on children in attendance?

Answer

Not at all! But we hope you keep in mind that music will be loud and there will be a lot of new faces. This is especially important for sensory sensitive kiddos.

Question

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

We will have an open bar for a limited time frame. Times will be listed at the bar and the selections that will be offered. After those times, a cash bar will be available for your drinking enjoyment.
