Where to stay

We have arranged a small block of rooms at The Box House Hotel (www.theboxhousehotel.com), which is a close hotel to the venue. If you wish to participate, please call the hotel and use our names when making your booking for a 10% discount on your room of choice. Our venue is Greenpoint Loft (67 West Street, Brooklyn 11222), which is in trendy northern Brooklyn, so it can be on the pricier side. Crown Heights (our neighborhood) doesn't really have any hotel options, but there will be ample AirBNB-style options if you want to stay closer to us/central Brooklyn. Manhattan also has plenty of great options, but keep in mind that inter-borough travel can be tricky. Familiarize yourself with the subway map and be aware of car travel times (especially in heavy traffic). No matter what your budget or preference, there are many options in NYC to choose from. Please stay wherever makes sense for you. We're just happy you are coming!

AirBNB Vs. Hotel

Hotels in Greenpoint have exploded in the recent months: There are some options within walking distance from the venue, though they may be on the more expensive side. If you are planning on staying for just the weekend and looking for a nice hotel close to the venue, check out Franklin Guesthouse or The Box House Hotel (use our names for a 10% discount at The Box House). However, for those staying longer than two or three nights, we'd recommend searching AirBNB-style sites. It'll be a much better value and allow you to get the full Brooklyn experience.
