This hotel is beautiful. Even if you aren't staying here, we recommend brunch or dinner at the Peacock restaurant!
Start your shopping at an awesome western store and just keep walking from there!
The best pizza there is.
Black's is an Austin staple
Super fun coffee house + beer garden with food trucks!
Insanely huge mall. Tons of food, every store you can think of. And there's a Top Golf nearby if you want to practice your swing.
AMAZING lake views with drinks and/or food. Totally worth stopping here (it's near the venue and our house!)
Your standard, Texas steakhouse. It is one of Diana's favorite places to eat! The wait for the patio is worth it, but you can request it for reservations 5:30 or sooner. Otherwise it's a gamble!
OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT. Interesting game, and unique combinations. It's just special.
Local brewery with great beer and lots of outdoor seating under Texas Live Oaks.
This is a beer place + wine place (they're side by side to cater to everyone) with a huge lawn for hanging out. They have a food truck too :)
Awesome pizza + beer garden. We'll also be having our post-wedding event here on Sunday!
Cute German town that Diana loves. It's SURROUNDED by wineries, distilleries, and is in the heart of Texas wine country.
Full of cute antique stores (and an awesome coffee shop) Johnson city is a great place to spend a couple hours. It's 20 mins from Fredericksburg, so suggest stopping over on your way into Texas Wine country!
yay coffee!

GET THE MOON MILK
A local tourist destination, this natural pool is beautiful. You need to check conditions and see if it is open, though.
The best donuts, and local favorite kolaches (bread filled with all sorts of savory delicious things). I suggest this for a dough-filled breakfast feast.
Solid steakhouse (more in the country) with great cocktails.
Fresh, delicious pizza.
There are a few Amy's around so google their locations- there's one downtown as well on South Congress street if you are in the city itself.
This is our favorite, Local BBQ place near our house. No frills, hole-in-the-wall off of the highway.
If you go to Fredericksburg, try this French place for lunch.
Great cocktails! (and fun fusion food)
There's a few of these around the city/area. It's a local Austin pizza place, but DETROIT STYLE. A bit like Buddy's/Jet's hybrid. Delicious.
Can't say we've been yet, but it looks beautiful.
Famous fried chicken place
One of our favorite places to go to dinner regularly. Great food and drinks. I love the burger and their pastas!
One of the best spots for fresh Italian
Jon's cousin Liz recommends this for the best chocolate chip cookies (as well as coffee/other food:)
Tacos!
Cute cafe with great breakfast foods

Awesome coffee on the river!
Short hike near downtown overlooking Lake Austin.
HONEY HAM AMAZINGNESS. Get their ham sandwich and macaroni (and a cookie) and you'll be set for life.
Cool 1920s themed cocktail place near our house. Diana loves their mules, and they have solid food as well (recommend the chicken & bacon sandwich w/ fries..)
The closest restaurant to our house on a map. Went there recently, and they had good drinks, solid food (pub stuff), and a nice side patio with live music. If you're near the venue this is a super close place to get a beer/cocktail.
If you have a cake craving, look no further.
I haven't been here yet, but I'm dying to go. Hear that it's amazing, so please try it for me.
An Austin BBQ staple loved by locals.
No frills wine store + tasting bar. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but they have a great selection.
the Lakeway city park is large, pretty, and great for a walk and a peek at the Lakefront.
There's a few of these in Austin itself, (this one is closest to our house) - so google all the locations, because if you want super tasty Detroit pizza, you can find it in Austin...
