FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Since we are having a small wedding, we are asking guests to RSVP by August 1 so we have the time to invite another loved one if you cannot attend in person. All of our friends and family are welcome to attend virtually through a live stream of the ceremony. Virtual attendees do not need to RSVP.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual: Women can wear below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats). As for men, opt for a dress shirt and slacks, with the option to wear a tie. "Semi-formal gives you flexibility on comfort, but be sure not to dress too casually."

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Since we are having a very small, intimate wedding, there will be no plus ones offered to invited guests. If you have a partner that would like to join us for this special day, they can tune in to the live stream that will broadcast from our website.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Since we are getting married in a botanical garden, please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony so you have time to navigate the gardens to the ceremony location.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the venue but it will be limited as the wedding will be held during opening hours. We recommend carpooling or taking an Uber/Taxi. If you would like us to put you in touch with another guest for carpooling, let us know.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will be hosting a brunch reception following the wedding ceremony; please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can make appropriate accommodations.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have a traditional registry, instead, we decided to set up a cash fund since we don't have the space for items on a registry yet. Our hope is that we can use the money from our cash fund to buy the items usually found on a registry later when we're done with school and have a home.
