The Great Adventure Hike

7:00 am - 11:00 am

Kick off the day with a little adventure! Scott and Nicole plan to hike to the Vernal Falls Footbridge. For those who want a little more adventure, continue your hike on the Mist Trail to Vernal Falls and/or Nevada Falls. It’s the perfect way to take in the beauty of Yosemite and spend time together. We plan to meet anyone who wants to join at the Curry Village Parking lot. To guarantee a parking spot in Yosemite Valley on a summer holiday weekend, you have to arrive early. Plus, it's beautiful in the morning and we'll beat the heat! Scott and Nicole will head out for the hike at 7:15am at the Curry Village parking lot. The Curry Village parking lot is 45-60 minutes from Rush Creek. Anyone is free to join us! Tying the Knot Trot

It’s time for Scott and Nicole to complete their triathlon of love. They met during an Ironman training swim, got engaged on a gravel biking adventure in Switzerland, and now they’re ready to cross the finish line—with a run that begins their married life together. There are a few trails on the Rush Creek property. We will start at the Rush Creek Trail Head at the Wedding Meadow. There are two options: The Nature Trail, which is an approximately 1 mile loop, and the Vista Trail, which is an approximately 2 mile loop. A portion of the trail is paved, but it is mostly a single track nature trail. This can be a run, jog, hike, or walk. https://www.rushcreeklodge.com/explore/activities/nature-trails/
