Engagement Photos

It was about 45 degrees at our sunrise photoshoot and the ground was completely saturated and it was FREEZING. Our shoes were immediately soaked through to our feet. Luckily we had coffee, our puffies and a few changes of clothes! Doug was a trooper and quite the little model. He was only minorly distracted by some early hikers and all of the Colorado smells (and piles of bear, elk and moose poop, among other treats). When we rolled up to our first location, there were two huge bull moose in the distance. We played some of our favorite tunes to get the mood right, and then we were off! We shot for about 2 hours, said goodbye to our photographer Mary, and then hiked up to a high alpine lake for the remainder of the day. It was pretty picture perfect.
