Question
Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! The ceremony, which takes place at the church, has free parking in front of and on both sides of the church. The reception venue has complementary valet parking, and we will have a shuttle service going from both Marriott hotels that are listed with our wedding room block rates on our website.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Guest can arrive anytime before 1:00 p.m. The cermony will start promptly at 1:00 p.m. on November 2nd, 2024. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early. There will be a couple of rows reserved for immediate family members in the Church. Additional seating will be first come, first served. The Church is about 35 minutes from the Marriott hotels. The reception venue is about 5 minutes from the Marriott hotels.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes, there will be a shuttle service to and from the reception. The first shuttle will leave at 4:45 p.m. from the hotels. There will not be a shuttle service from the hotel to the church where the 1:00 p.m. ceremony will be taking place.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
No dress code :) We recommend semi-formal: tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

If we are flying, what airport do you recommend.
Answer
There are three airport options you can utilize: Chicago O'hare International Airport, Chicago Midway International Airport, or Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport. We recommend flying into O'hare or Milwaukee.

Is there a breakfast service November 3rd?
Answer
Yes, there will be breakfast for wedding guests on Sunday, Nov 3rd, at the Linconshrie Marriott Resort.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes! We will have gluten free and vegan options. When you RSVP, you will be prompted to select your dinner options, and you will be able to note if you are gluten free or vegan. Please reach out if needed.

Please RSVP by October 2nd, 2024. Use the RSVP tab on our website. If you have troubles with it, please reach out to Madisen at 847-826-0747 to RSVP.

What is the recommended maps to use?
Answer
Google Maps is recommended, especially for the reception venue. Enter off of Milwaukee Avenue, NOT museum blvd.

Please only bring your plus one(s) if your invitation includes: "Your Name & Guest" or "Mr. and Mrs. John Baur & Family"
