Matron of Honor
We met in a book club dedicated to adults who love to read YA shortly after I moved to Austin. Since then, we have had countless holiday movie sleepovers, shopping excursions, hikes and swimming adventures, and one really great trip to NYC! Caitlin had a front row seat to my dating adventures, but when she met and got to know John- she gave her stamp of approval. " You guys better get married, I like him and I don't want to have to get to know a new guy. " Well Caitlin, here you go. :)
Best Man
Eric and I have been best friends basically forever (or at least a "since sophomore year of high school kind of forever"). Whether it was exploring Victoria in the early years or travelling across Japan in the later years, we have been there for each other at every significant life event. I even served as Eric's Best Man in his wedding, so it's time to call in the favor in return.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay is my childhood best friend! We spent so many summers at her house, riding bikes, playing with horses, or in her backyard holding the baby bunnies her pet rabbits would have. As we got older it turned into camping trips, late night diner hangs, or even just sitting around listening to music and talking about whatever. I have so many great memories involving this lady! We have been there for each other through thick and thin and I couldn't imagine getting married without her up there by my side.
Groomsman
Andrew and I lived across the hall from each other during our college dorm days at the University of Texas. A love of UT football, video games, and the Chapelle Show grew into a strong friendship that has lasted throughout the years. He and his wife, Kim, have been a constant positive element in my life and I'm glad to have him there for my next big moment.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and I have been friends since elementary school. We've been weaving aspects of our lives together ever since. From kicking butt in Tang Soo Do, and rocking it out in bell choir, to attending the same university and becoming sorority sisters. I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid in her wedding and now I'm so happy for her to be a bridesmaid in mine.
Groomsman
I similarly met Michael at the University of Texas in our dorm hall. We quickly bonded over a love of games, computer science, and technology. Michael and Andrew eventually became roommates, which meant that the majority of my free time was spent hanging out with them. One of the things I like the most about Mike is his constant positive and carefree attitude. Whenever we feel stressed, he's able to be the calm level head. I'm so happy to have him there for this big moment.
Bridesmaid
We have been friends since our Girl Scout days. Kelly is my adventure buddy! We have camped, biked, snorkeled, and kayaked together over the years. We have literally crossed oceans together! From D.C, to Hawaii, to Australia- I'm glad she is making her way to Texas to be in the wedding party.
Groomsman
Ryan and I met late in my college experience on a video game project that eventually kickstarted my professional career. We eventually ended up working at the same company and became friends and colleagues for the next 13 years. We share a love of technology, StarCraft 2, and working on Nintendo projects and I'm honored to have him be part of my wedding.
