We don't believe in dress codes. Ties are actively discouraged due to the stuffy atmosphere they create. But if you want to bring down the vibe by wearing a tie, we won't stop you.
The event that loosely resembles a wedding kicks off at 4 p.m. at the Emil Bach House in the beautiful Rogers Park neighborhood in Chicago. There will be an ceremony that happens at some point, and it'll be so short that you might miss it if you go to the bathroom at the wrong time. Open bar? We got it. Typical wedding food? None of that beef, chicken, or fish shit here. We want you to enjoy yourselves so we have a lot of surprises in store. If you are vegan, etc., or have a dietary restriction we overlooked, "the Bride" will personally ensure that you get a great meal that suits your needs and taste. There is no set end time. Curfew for outdoor music is at 10 p.m., which is when the party moves indoors to the Emil Bach House and adjacent Lang House. This might be your only chance to party in a Frank Lloyd Wright home so don't miss out.

We have the venue all weekend and out of town guests will be staying onsite, so there are plans to have some sort of backyard party on the Sunday after the wedding. The White Sox and Cubs are also playing, so you might witness their first fight as a married couple as "the Groom" takes a group to the south side to watch some baseball.
