Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We'd love you to join us for the weekend at camp - check out the GETTING TO CAMP tab to see accommodations (and please make sure you RSVP Yes to Camp Check-In). You're absolutely welcome to stay both nights (Friday and Saturday) or just one if that works best for you, please still RSVP yes! Once we have an idea of who is bunking up at camp, we will coordinate cabin assignments and find a great place for everyone to stay. There is a ton of space, so everyone who wants to stay, can! We will let you know exactly where you're staying at check-in on Friday 9/15. Some cabins will be shared (rooms have 5 bunk beds - but we can spread folks out so they won't all be full!!), but don't worry we will make sure you are with friends or fam :) If you have specific preferences or would feel most comfortable in a solo cabin, reach out and let us know. There is no cost for staying at camp. Cabin camping not really your style? No worries! There are great inns and AirBnB's nearby - check the GETTING TO CAMP tab for some ideas.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We LOVE the kids, and yes, this is a kid's camp... but we'd love for this weekend to be your time off, so please keep the little ones at home! Feel free just to join us for Saturday if that is easier!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Casual, comfy camp clothes for the weekend. Try to come prepared - it can be hot during the day and CHILLY at night (there will be a campfire!), swimsuits for the lake, long pants/high socks for hikes. Friday night is casual, whatever you'd like but bring something a bit warm. For the ceremony and reception, let's dress it up a bit - cocktail attire please! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass and walkways can be a bit uneven, just an FYI for my heel-wearing friends.

Question

How do I RSVP, and when should I let you know?

Answer

RSVP on this website under the "RSVP" tab - you'll be able to let us know if you can make it to the party and whether or not you are planning to stay at camp. Please RSVP by August 1st!

Question

I'm staying in the Cabins - what do I need to bring?

Answer

All cabins have electricity, hot water, toilets, and showers. Linens will be provided - sheets and blankets for beds, bath towels, and beach towels. There is NO heating or AC in the cabins, so would be good to have some layers or warm clothes in case it gets chilly. Other than that, just bring what you'd normally need for a fun, safe weekend on the lake (sunscreen, bug spray, lawn games, pool floaties, flashlight if you want, etc.)! Meals and drinks will be provided, but if you want your favorite snacks on hand or have some real heady craft beer or a seltzer you can't live without, feel free to bring along.

Question

I can only make it Saturday, is that okay?

Answer

Absolutely! Saturday is the *big day* so we would love you to join us then. Go ahead and RSVP to "We Say I Do!" and we will see you Saturday! If you want to stay at camp only for Saturday night, please still RSVP to "Camp Check-In" and we will plan to have a cabin ready for you on Saturday.

Question

I'm not staying at camp - when should I plan to be there?

Answer

On Saturday for the ceremony, please be around a little before we get started - lets say by 3:45pm. Even if you're staying elsewhere - we would love you to hang at camp whenever you can! Please feel free to come Friday for dinner or just to hang after, come over Saturday during the day for some camp time, and even Sunday morning if you'd like!
