The closest airports are Oakland (OAK) and San Francisco (SFO). If you'd like to avoid renting a car, SFO has the best and easiest public transportation to Mill Valley. The Marin Airporter (https://marinairporter.com) runs every hour and drops you off at Manzanita in Mill Valley. From there, it's a 3-10 minute Uber ride depending on where you're staying. Public transportation from Oakland to Mill Valley is a hot mess- we'd recommend Uber or a rental car. Once you get to Mill Valley, public transportation is not great. For the wedding, parking can be limited downtown, so we would recommend Uber if you're not within walking distance.

This is the priciest option, but perfect if you want to be in the heart of quaint downtown Mill Valley. It's a beautiful spot in the redwoods within walking distance of everything - all wedding events, the best breakfast sandwich on earth, amazing hiking trails, and Bob Weir's bar/music hall. We'll be staying here! The hotel only has 25 rooms and we do have a 10% discount, so if you're considering this option, please book ASAP to reserve. This is less expensive than the Mill Valley Inn and only an 8-min drive to downtown Mill Valley where the ceremony & reception will be. It's in between the highway and the Richardson Bay, so if you can swing a room facing the bay, you'll get amazing views of Mt. Tam.

The Holiday Inn Express is an 8-min drive from all wedding festivities, and a short walk from Tam Junction, which has a great pizza/beer garden (The Junction), fish taco spot (Hook Fish Co.), and our favorite surf shop (Proof Lab). It's also only a 5-min drive to the Tennessee Valley Trailhead, which is an easy 3.6-mile out-and-back that takes you right to the beach.

The Travelodge is a 7-minute drive to downtown Mill Valley where all wedding festivities will be. It's also a quick walk from Richardson Bay and Cable Car Coffee.

There are some really great options close to our venue and downtown! Just make sure to throw it in google maps so you know how far it is from everything.
