The Charlotte, NC airport is the best to use if flying. It is an American Airlines hub, so generally there are more AA flights available than other airlines.

This hotel is also ~10 minutes from our house. There are also several great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Unfortunately they do not have group blocks, so you have to book independently if you'd like to stay here.

Another nice hotel option in the area, which is ~ 20 minutes away from our house. The Ballantyne Hotel also has a great spa and several restaurants and shops across the street.
