We're getting married!

Thank you eHarmony! John had just moved to Charlotte, NC to be close to the girls. The moment Jana signed up for eHarmony, we matched. After making John wait a few weeks before responding, we finally started emailing back and forth. Neither of us expected to meet the love of our lives through online dating but the rest is history!

We met at the Broken Spoke, a bourbon bar in SouthEnd. We both still remember the exact moment we met at the front door. After a few drinks, we continued talking for hours. At the end of the date, we planned our second date and John was irritated that I wouldn't kiss him! That's right buddy, you're dating a southern girl now!

We moved in together and 'unofficially' blended our families several years ago. At the time, we thought that was 'as married' as we were ever going to be! Since then, our love continued to grow stronger for each other every day and this is without a doubt our forever family.

Under the ruse of family pictures, John made sure I had my hair, makeup and nails done (good man!). Right before 'picture time', all sorts of additional family members pour in (mom, Jeffrey, Kim, Will, Annie, Jack, Shannon, Julie, Evan, Miranda and Taylor). John proposed and I said YES! Coleman thought that was the actual wedding :). Then, we spent the rest of the night celebrating with a good ol' family party!
